Metuchen Library Teens is the Website of the Library's Young Adult (YA) Department for grades 6-12. The Department's collection reflects the trends in current YA literature and supports our schools' curricula with both fiction and non-fiction materials. We sponsor free monthly events including author visits, recreational classes and college-prep programs for Metuchen residents.  A full complement of summer programs is available and paid for by The Friends of the Metuchen Library. In addition, the Library has a Teen Advisory Board that helps to determine purchases and programming for young adults in our community, and that supports the Library and its activities.

Because the Library's Children's Room is being renovated and the Community Room is being used to hold furniture from that room, there are no Library programs scheduled for April or May. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
